How to Make Money Using Google AdSense

Updated on November 26, 2012

Google's AdSense is probably the number one money monetization method used by bloggers and online promoters. This program is a contextual link advertising platform where Website owners and Bloggers are signed on as publishers where Google can place ads that are related to the content or subject of the writers blog or website. When a visitor to a particular site clicks on an AdSense ad, the publisher/blogger, is paid a portion of the revenue.

There are two ad formats. It is important to choose what will work well with your particular blog.

  • AdSense for content: Based on what your page is about, ads will appear in either text or pictures.
  • AdSense for search: In this case, there will be a search box on your blog and when people type in searches, you are paid.

The sky is truly the limit when it comes to AdSense earning potential. Many bloggers study, record, and constantly alter their ads to narrow down the most profitable ways to use AdSense.

Ads should be checked on regularly, and the ones that do not fit in should be weeded out.

In order t avoid having to look over your blog all the time, it is wise to write your blog posts as detailed and to the point as possible.

To Increase AdSense Earnings

  • Constantly ad new content
  • Continue to pick up more fans.
  • By bulding backlinks, and aging.

Adsense Business

Placing an ad immediately after a post is a sure fire way to dramatically increase earnings.

Adsense is a great way for businesses, entrepreneurs and website owners to generate steady income, publicize and market any product or service to a targeted audience.

To start using AdSense, you simply enroll. You must have a launched website with a valide web address and content that meets Google's accepteable guidelines. You must also have a valid name and address for receiving payments. You then customize how you would like your ads to appear, add a block of html code to your site and your're off and running.

google uses its AdWords advertiser database to match highly releant ads to your site's contnet and feeds these ads to your site. You do not need to maintain relationships with adertisers., select ads or even pay for them; Google manages it all. Advertisers pay in a bidding process for placing their ads in the AdWords database, but you pay nothing. Using AdSense is free.

In essence, Google is renting your website for billboard space. This increases ad exposure for Google's advertisers. And because advertisers pay Google every time a visitor clicks on one of their ads, it's in Google's interest to make sure the ads that appear on your site are highly relevant.

AdSense operates on a Pay-Per-Click model; Google pays you rent every time a visitor clicks on one of the AdSense links. Each click translates into pennies or dollars a day for you. The more ckicks, the more money you make.
